Customer map pins
Pin the exact door on the map, or ask the customer to pin it, so drivers find it the first time.
A map pin is optional, but it saves the driver a phone call: Pin the exact door and drivers find it first time, without calling. Addresses use the Saudi national address fields, and a pin can be added to any of them.

Pin an address
- Open Customers, choose the customer and press Add address (or Change address on an existing one).
- Fill the address fields and save the address first.
- Under Ways to place the pin, pick one:
- Search a place or district: type in Arabic or English; results come from OpenStreetMap.
- Paste a map link or coordinates: a Google Maps or Apple Maps link, or numbers like 24.7136, 46.6753. Short links such as maps.app.goo.gl cannot be opened here.
- Move the map under the pin: drag the map until the pin sits on the door.
- Use your own location, if you are at the door.
- Ask the customer to pin it: see below.
- Check Looks right? and press Place the pin.
Ask the customer to pin it
- Press Ask the customer to pin it. The address must be saved first.
- Press Copy the link or Share, and send it from your own phone.
- The customer opens the link and uses their location. You then see Pinned by the customer with the time.
The link works once and expires after 7 days. If it expired, press Make a new link; the old one stops working.
Rules
- A pin outside Saudi Arabia is refused.
- Without a pin the stop is not counted in Optimise order and the stop shows No pin yet.
- After a stop is finished, the place where it was finished is compared with the pin. More than 300 m away is flagged for the office.
A pin is never required to dispatch. Add it when you can.
