Product-Specific Terms

Tafsee Logistics Terms

Applies to: Tafsee Logistics

Last updated:

In these documents, Tafsee, we and us mean مؤسسة جوهر الجاذبية لتقنية المعلومات, the establishment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that provides the Tafsee products and the website tafsee.com. You means the person or the business that uses them.

These terms add to the Terms of Service for Tafsee Logistics, the warehouse and delivery software for businesses in Saudi Arabia.

1. What Tafsee Logistics is, and is not

  • Tafsee Logistics is software. Your organisation uses it to record goods it receives, hold and release them, plan delivery trips and record proof of delivery.
  • Tafsee does not store, carry, deliver or clear any goods, does not employ or supervise your drivers, and is not a party to your contracts with your customers, senders or drivers. You remain responsible for your goods, your drivers, your vehicles, your licences and permits, and your customs and other obligations.
  • Tafsee Logistics is not connected to customs or other government systems, does not issue invoices, and is not a vehicle tracking system.

2. Plans and the trial

  • Every new organisation starts with a 14-day free trial with everything in the Growth plan. No card is needed.
  • To continue after the trial, choose Starter, Growth or Business. Payment is arranged with the Tafsee team; no card is taken in the app.
  • If the trial ends without a plan, Tafsee Logistics becomes read-only for your organisation: everyone can still see everything and nothing is deleted, but new or changed work waits, and the driver app shows that deliveries are paused, until a plan is chosen.
  • Each plan's limits (drivers, vehicles, deliveries a month, delivery areas and people who sign in) and extras are shown on the pricing page.

3. Personal data in Tafsee Logistics

Your organisation is the controller of the personal data it keeps in Tafsee Logistics, and Tafsee processes it for you under the Data Processing Agreement. In particular:

  • Recipients, customers and senders: names, phones, emails and addresses, including Saudi national address details and optional map pins. Collect and use them only for your logistics work.
  • Drivers: you must tell your drivers what the driver app records. While a driver is online in the driver app, their phone shares its location about once a minute; only the latest position is kept. Use it only to run deliveries. National ID or iqama numbers and licence details are for your own compliance records.
  • Proof of delivery: the delivery code, signature, photo and the name of who received the goods are stored with the delivery.
  • Email notifications to customers and to your team are sent only if your organisation switches them on.

4. Public pages you create

  • Tracking links open without signing in for anyone who has the link. They show the delivery status, the delivery day and area, cash to pay, the delivery code, and, while the delivery is on its way and the driver's position is less than 30 minutes old, the driver on a map. Thirty days after delivery they stop showing the photo, signature and driver.
  • Sender pages show a sender the shipments they sent in the last 90 days.
  • The customer shipment lookup page is off until your organisation switches it on. A visitor must type a number from their paperwork and the last 4 digits of the phone your warehouse holds for them; a wrong number or phone shows nothing. Lookups are limited per address and per page. It shows each lot's status, the kind of hold (never your office's notes), delivered packages and your business's phone. You can turn it off or replace its address at any time.
  • Share these links only with the people they are for. Anyone who has a link can open it.

5. Maps and address search

Maps come from OpenStreetMap and address search uses the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service, called from the user's browser. Results can be incomplete or wrong; drivers must follow the road and the law, not only the map. The national address fields are checked for format only; Tafsee does not verify addresses with Saudi Post.

6. Your records

Lists and reports can be exported as CSV files on the plans that include it. Keep your own copies of records you are legally required to keep. When your organisation is deleted at your request, its data is deleted with it.
