Send each lead as JSON to an https address of your own, with the fields you choose.
What you need
- An https address of your own that accepts a POST request and answers with a 2xx status.
- In Tafsee Popup: a role that can manage integrations.
1. In Webhook
- Prepare the address on your server, or in the tool that will receive the leads.
- Read Webhooks for the body and the headers of the request.
2. In Tafsee Popup
- Open Integrations and find Webhook. Use the search box or the category tabs.
- Click Connect.
- Fill in the form:
- Endpoint URL: your https address.
- Account name: optional. A name to tell your accounts apart.
- Click Connect. What you enter is stored encrypted and is used only to deliver your leads.
- A window asks which campaigns send leads to Webhook. Tick them and click Save campaigns.
New campaigns are not added by themselves. Come back here, or add this integration in the campaign's Publish step.
What is sent
- The lead as JSON, the same body as Webhooks: the lead's details, the campaign, the website, the page, the device, the country and the UTM tags.
- The rows you choose under What to send arrive inside "fields".
- A test lead carries "test": true, so your workflow can ignore it.
Choose what to send
This tool uses the table What to send of each campaign. Open the campaign's Publish step, find the row Leads go to your email tool and click Manage, then Edit on the tool.
- The first row, E-mail address, is always sent and cannot be changed.
- Click Add a row to send a form answer or a detail about the sign-up: Campaign name, Website, Page address, Country, Device, Code given or Consent time.
- Click Add a fixed value to send the same text with every lead.
- Before saving, the app tells you if two rows go to the same field or a row has nothing to send.
Test it
- On the Webhook card, click Send test lead. The app says: Test lead delivered. Check that it arrived.
- Look in Webhook for the test lead.
What you should see
The card shows Connected and the number of campaigns. New leads carry Delivered in the leads list, and appear in Webhook.
If it does not work
- "The URL must start with https://". Plain http is not accepted.
- The tool refused this lead: your address answered with a 4xx status. Check what it expects.
- The tool had a problem on its side: your address answered with a 5xx status or took too long. Tafsee tries again by itself.
- No campaign sends leads here yet, so nothing will arrive. Click Choose campaigns.
- A lead is marked Failed: open it to read what the tool answered, fix the cause, then click Send again. See Lead delivery and Send again.
