Microsoft Teams

Post every new lead into a Microsoft Teams channel through a Workflows webhook.

What you need

• A Teams channel in which you may add a workflow.
• In Tafsee Popup: a role that can manage integrations.

1. In Microsoft Teams

1. In the Teams channel, open Workflows and choose "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received".
2. Finish the workflow and copy the URL it gives you.

2. In Tafsee Popup

1. Open Integrations and find Microsoft Teams. Use the search box or the category tabs.
2. Click Connect.
3. Fill in the form:

• Workflow webhook URL: the URL you copied.
• Account name: optional. A name to tell your accounts apart.

4. Click Connect. What you enter is stored encrypted and is used only to deliver your leads.
5. A window asks which campaigns send leads to Microsoft Teams. Tick them and click Save campaigns.

New campaigns are not added by themselves. Come back here, or add this integration in the campaign's Publish step.

What is sent

• A card per lead with: Email, Name, Phone and Company when given, Campaign, Site, Coupon when one was given, Consent and the Page.
• The card is written in English.

This tool takes a fixed set of details, so there is nothing to map. The list above is what it receives.

Test it

1. On the Microsoft Teams card, click Send test lead. The app says: Test lead delivered. Check that it arrived.
2. Look in Microsoft Teams for the test lead.

What you should see

The card shows Connected and the number of campaigns. New leads carry Delivered in the leads list, and appear in Microsoft Teams.

If it does not work

• "That is not a Teams webhook link." Use the URL the workflow gives you, not the link of the channel.
• Messages stopped arriving: the workflow was switched off or its owner left the team. Open Workflows in Teams and check it.
• No campaign sends leads here yet, so nothing will arrive. Click Choose campaigns.
• A lead is marked Failed: open it to read what the tool answered, fix the cause, then click Send again. See Lead delivery and Send again.
