E-mail marketing tools
Send leads to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, MailerLite, ActiveCampaign or Kit, and understand how consent travels with each lead.
Six e-mail tools can receive your leads directly. Each has its own article with the exact steps.
The tools
- Mailchimp: Add leads to an audience, tagged by campaign.
- Klaviyo: Sync leads and consent to Klaviyo to trigger flows.
- Brevo: Add or update the contact in Brevo, on the list you choose.
- MailerLite: Add or update the subscriber in MailerLite, in the group you choose.
- ActiveCampaign: Create or update the contact in ActiveCampaign and add it to a list.
- Kit (ConvertKit): Subscribe each lead to a Kit form, so your sequences start.
What all of them need
- An e-mail field in the form. A form that collects a phone number only cannot feed an e-mail tool; the campaign's checks say so.
- The campaign ticked for the tool. See Connecting a tool: how it works.
Consent
Add a consent box to the form if you plan to send marketing e-mails. See Consent and the privacy line. What each tool does with a lead that did not consent is in its article; Mailchimp, for example, adds the contact as non-marketing.
Confirmation e-mails (double opt-in)
Whether a new contact must confirm by e-mail is decided in the e-mail tool itself, on the list, form or group the leads join. Tafsee Popup does not send a confirmation e-mail.
Welcome e-mails and discount codes
Tafsee Popup shows the code on the popup. To also e-mail it, build that automation in your e-mail tool. Where the tool receives the code (Klaviyo receives it as tafsee_coupon; webhooks and Google Sheets receive couponCode), you can use it in the e-mail.
