Pages of a popup: main, thank-you and Yes / No
A popup can have several pages: the main page, a Yes / No question, a thank-you page and a teaser. Add, design, reorder and remove them.
A campaign is a short flow, not one picture. Its pages are listed in a strip above the popup in Design. Click a page to design it.
The kinds of page
- Main view: what the visitor sees first, usually with the form.
- Yes / No: a question with two answers before the form.
- Thank-you: what they see after signing up, where a discount code is shown.
- Teaser: a small tab on the page that opens the popup. See The teaser tab.
- Custom: an empty page for anything else.
Add a page
- Click Add view in the strip.
- Choose Thank-you (after sign-up), Yes / No question, Teaser (small tab) or Blank view.
- The new page opens with starter words. Change them.
To copy a page, use Duplicate this view. To rename, double-click its name. To remove, use Delete this view.
The thank-you page
With a thank-you page selected, click Page layout. The panel Thank-you layout offers ready layouts; your headline and message stay as written:
- Message: a headline, a message and a button.
- Discount code: the same with a discount code. The same code for everyone. For a code per person, select the code on the page and open its settings.
- Video: paste the address of a video.
- Download: a button that opens a file or a page in a new tab.
- Follow us: icons that open your social pages.
Without a thank-you page
If you remove the thank-you page, choose in the form's settings, under After sign-up, what happens instead: Show a thank-you line or Close the popup. A prize or a code the visitor won is still shown first.
The Yes / No page
A small yes first lifts sign-ups. The form appears after a yes.
- Add the page, or pick a template that has one.
- Type the question and both answers on the popup.
- Click an answer and set what it does under When clicked: go to the next page, close the campaign, go to an address, or open a link in a new tab. The settings name the two paths If they say yes and If they say no.
- Click Page layout to choose an arrangement under Yes / No layout: One under the other, Side by side, or either with a picture.
Show the steps
On a campaign with more than one step you can show a "Step 1 of 2" bar. Switch on Show the steps in the Theme settings.
Preview the whole flow
Click Preview in the top bar and go through the pages as a visitor would.
If it does not work
- After signing up, visitors see only a plain line: there is no thank-you page. Click Add a thank-you page.
- The popup closes at once after sign-up: the form is set to Close the popup.
- This page is arranged in columns by hand, so ready-made layouts are not offered for it.
- The download button only closes the popup: no address was given for the file.
